If I could give 0 stars I would. Dr. Saunders is the absolute worst and should not be practicing medicine. My dad has been in and out of the hospital for 7 weeks and everyone said follow up with urologist as outpatient. We went into see Dr. Saunders and every issue my dad had ..recurrent UTIs, urine retention, blood clots in bladder he said there was nothing he could do and it was "Something he would have to live with". We will NEVER go back to him and I am planning on contacting the medical board of VA. He should not be practicing medicine!!
Erin Glace, Physical Therapist is absolutely wonderful. Kind, compassionate, patient and extremely knowledgeable. She makes sure that I feel comfortable at every appointment. She's a gem. I wish I would've started pt with her sooner. There are not enough words to Express my gratitude to her. If you are looking for a pelvic floor dysfunction pt therapist shes the one. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars.
I'm writing a review for my mother Johnnie Back. My mother is a patient of Dr. McCammon in the Va Beach office. On Friday May 26 the receptionist in the Va Beach could not get my mother in so she told her she could get her an appointment in the Hampton office, which she did. When my mother arrived the receptionist checked her in (she was in the system with an appointment). When my mother turned in her questionnaire she mentioned that her birthday was on the same day as Donald Trump's. At that time the receptionist went off bad mouthing Donald Trump to my mother. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL! Then when my mother got to the back the nurse ended up chewing her out and telling her she did NOT have an appointment! The nurse even told her that the receptionist from the other office DID NOT make her an appointment. My mother even started to cry because the nurse went on and on and on. My mother even told her she could leave and go to Patient First.
Absolutly horrible trying to make an appointment. 1st call (last week) I waited more than 10 min to get to the appointment person. The first available appointment was for 12/28.. Couldn't do that so I just decided to wait until next year. Because of 'issues', I called again Monday 12/5 and held the line this time for 20 minutes before I was able to speak with someone. Was informed this time that they could not make an appoinment for me because they needed info from my PC Doc. Frankly after waiting for 20 minutes this time and collectively for 30 min just to make an appointment, I was in no mood for that nonsense. I very specifically instructed this person that was not going to happen and insisted on an appointment. This persons response while I was speaking, was - sir STOP, STOP, STOP. That was followed with I have an opening on 12/7. While confirming the appointment, I apologized for being curt, but my patient's expired 19 minutes in to my 20 minute wait trying to simply making an appointment. Wasnt even acknowledged. My apology was followed up with, 'people' just don't understand. I told them that there was no doubt that they could use additional info from my doc, but I could have all that taken care of BEFORE I arrived to be seen. Then I completely agreed, people just don't understand. So be patient and don't get irritated. Understand how difficult it is for them. Your calling because you have a medical problem, but understand that you just don't understand. The actual visit you ask? More than 30 min (after sched visit time) waiting in the exam room. Numerous signs posted throughout the office pleading for patients to arrive at least 30 min early. I arrived 30 min early to a full waiting room and actually went to the exam room 10 min before the sched visit, but just sat staring at the walls. The front desk staff, the med staff in the back and the docs are simply 1st class. Very respectful and curtious. My high review is because the actual visit (waiting aside) was a very good experience. Been going for years and will continue to do so. Just be patient and UNDERSTAND that the appointment process might be time consuming.
